DIRECTIONS
Basic Puppet Pattern
Print off the simple puppet pattern (for background) - Simple Puppet
Cut out the pattern
Choose two pieces of felt (or any other kind of stiff fabric) that are the same color for the main body of the puppet.
Place the felt pieces one on top of the other, and then pin the pattern securely to the felt. Make sure that the pins go through both layers.
Cut out the pattern pinned to the felt (Adults should do this step for young children)
Stitch the puppet edges together with a 1/8 inch seam allowance (or glue the edges if unable to stitch).
Individual Puppet Patterns

Click on each puppet name for individual puppet patterns - Longi Giraffe, Curvi Elephant, Slimi Snake, and Shorti Lion
Cut out the puppet pattern.
Follow the instructions on each pattern to cut out each puppet from the felt material listed.
Starting at the top of each puppet, add the features.
Decorate your puppet with markers, sequins and glitter so that they look like the sample as shown above.
Pants
Click here for the pants pattern.
Cut out the pants pattern.
Trace the pants pattern onto the color felt you have chosen. Cut out.
Attach two small strips of Velcro to the pants to they will stick to the puppet and can be removed again.
Decorate the pants . Make sure they are exactly the same. They need to have a star, thread
Presents

Cut out the presents pattern.
Cut out four rectangles exactly the same on any colour felt material and decorate.
