As most prevention programs focus on changing attitudes and behaviours of individual children, Jessie’s Hope Society aims to change social systems. Programs that are in multiple settings focusing on transforming the broader community are likely to be more successful than those targeting individual change. Therefore, over the past year, 2007,  Jessie’s Hope Society Children’s Health Resiliency Program: Celebrating EveryBODY! has been introduced to various school districts and communities throughout British Columbia with great success.

          Benefits include:
                1. Building protective factors around our children
                2. Consistent agreed upon language
                3. A foundation to deal with any issue that arises i.e. drugs, alcohol, smoking,
                    eating disorders, etc.
                4. Support to maintain sustainability in communities
                5. Criteria for system change has been developed from years of research and practice.
                6. Empowering children and youth to tap into their natural well-being
                7. Guide children and youth to develop an awareness of outside influences
                8. Recognize and apply one's inner strengths to guide them along in their everyday life choices
                9. Increase healthy self-esteem and positive changes in one's relationships
             10. Support children and youth to live socially and emotionally health lives
